Excellent Machine
Model Year: 1973
I bought it new in 1974 for $1250. I cut about a 1-acre yard every week in the summer and fall. It has a 44-inch mower. The engine has never been rebuilt, just the starter and carburetor twice each and the clutch once. The scroll pin in the drive shaft has been a problem. I replace it about every four to five years. I believe this machine will out last me ( I'm 77). While cutting my front yard I have guys stop and want to look at it. They can't believe it's 44 years old.
Pros: So reliable, has quality written all over it
Cons: I can't think of any except the scroll pin in the drive shaft
