Hey all, I have seen many threads but no real conclusion.

Both the CX2510 and CK2610 have the same CC of 1600 the website claims but the CX has an 87CU engine and the CK2610 has a 105CU

I will start by the fact I am not mechanically included, own a massey GC and upgrading in spring, but looking at these, and cant understand the power difference here for the bigger tractor, ive also thought CC indicate the power, but the the bigger engine is obviously different?

CK2610
Engine Model3H-TM4B
Engine Gross Power24.5 hp (18.3 kW)
Rated Speed2,600 rpm
No. of Cylinders3
Fuel TypeDiesel
Displacement100.5 cu. in. (1,647 cc)
Fuel Tank Capacity9 gal. (34 L)

CX2510
Engine Model3A165LWH-U3
Engine Gross Power24.5 hp (18.2 kW)
Rated Speed2,600 rpm
No. of Cylinders3
Fuel TypeDiesel
AspirationNatural

More than likely, if the engine in the CK2610 is in fact larger (conflicting info on the spec sheet) it would probably have
slightly more torque.

The CK2610 is a 30hp engine that has been derated to 24.5 hp by changing the injection pump output, injection pressure, timing, etc...

It is not unheard of for manufacturers to use the same engine in multiple tractors, just changing the "tuning". Engine hp can also be rated at different rpm. The 2610 probably develops it's max hp at a lower rpm than the CX2510.

1647 cc is about 100.5 cubic inches. 87 cubic inches works out to about 1426 cc. The engines are obviously not the same size and I suspect a typo on the spec sheet.

Thanks, seems odd they havnt fixed that after all these years as the soon to be #3 tractor in the US but agreed does seem like a typo. I have seen alot of people mention being able to dial some screw to get more power out of the CK but never the CX and the engine model itself is different too.

thanks again for the responses all

Where are you seeing the CK2610 having that engine? The Kioti website shows the CK2610 as having the 3A165LWM-U.

What's the link? Maybe a different engine in Canada?
