New Holland TC35S Will not shift into gear

It has been a long time since I split my old TC-35 but if it is a detent hanging up it is inside the casting and not outside the transmission. Is it the shuttle shift or the gear selector that refuses to engage? If you are lucky you can pull the top cover off the transmission, reach down in the...

    Rainbow

It is tough to tell in this photo but the rainbow actually stops down below the trees in the grassy area. About 175 yards out. We often get nice double rainbows that end in that area after late afternoon and evening rains. Pictures never do rainbows, sunrises, or sunsets justice.

    Rear mount finish mowers

I am also concerned with the excess power. I have an 84" Woods and with my old 35 hp tractor I would break the shear bolts on a pulley once every one or two years. Now that I have a 60 HP I am shearing them 2 or 3 times a year.. I have a feeling that I will eventually be upgrading to a 90"...

    Help choosing correct 45-50hp Kubota

I also Have an EA Wicked and like the design, and the company. If I were ordering one right now I would go for the EA Utility Grapple for my tractor but it wasn't announced when I got mine. Here is a spreadsheet I made up last year and I added the EA Utility models to the list. What do you...

    Another Firewood Processor

Honestly that is the one piece that I really don't feel comfortable giving out. A little ways up I said that I loosely based it off of Danzco's design... Well, in all honesty, I pretty much ripped it right off. I have no idea if they have any patents on their saw design, I didn't look anything...

    EA Wicked Grapple Carnage!

FYI, I too received a PM from Travis at EA. Took some pictures of my lid and it looks like I had a similar issues to Rustyshakelford but not quite as extreme. Some welds broke and metal stretched. EA is sending me the redesigned cylinder attachment points so I can do the fix here. Superior...

Anyone Have Any Experience With This Pallet Fork Grapple?

I was looking hard at pallet fork/grapples last year. In the end I went with a two lid EA Wicked grapple and a set of 48" forks. The plan was to use one attachment to load logs on a processor and remove bagged firewood from the other end. I think it would have worked but the grapple being wider...

Old photo with a plane crash

I think that your both looking at this with the perspective that someone was taking a picture of a tractor and a jet showed up. The more likely scenario is that the jet was flying around, a journalist or a local went out to an open field by the airport to take pictures of it. **** broke loose...

    Best Foundation for Barn Addition?

So, we have signed the paperwork to get solar panels to cover our electrical usage and the barn roof is the perfect place to put them. We are getting 51 panels, but only 33 will fit on the existing barn. I would like to put an addition onto my barn so they can all go in one place, and who...

My new additions (tree shear / puller)

I have clay soil and I do find the opposite to be true. Too dry and a tree will snap off due to the concrete nature of the soil, nice and moist soil will let the root ball pull right out. This comes from experience clearing old christmas trees with the FEL. Could be different with hardwoods...

    Shooting Bench

Was out at my cousins camp last weekend and we were out hiking. Passed another camp with this setup. Nice and portable.

Adapting Truck Snow Plow to Quick Attach

Got the blade, A-frame, and D-frame blasted yesterday while the weather was nice. Tonight after work and kids gymnastics I did the POR-15 Metal Prep and rinsed the parts. Later this week I'll be doing the 2 coats of POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating and then 2 coats of POR-15 Top Coat. We will...

Top and Tilt, Two Tilt Cylinders?

I was not aware that a fluid would separate substantially under a vacuum. I thinking that that this would be dependent on how good the seals were in the cylinder as to not draw air into the system. Air that leaks into the system will certainly act like that. As far as the implement dropping...
