How long have you been a member of TractorByNet.com?

I have been a member since February, 2011. I found TBN in a google search.

What do you like best about TractorByNet.com?

There is a well rounded group of individuals on TBN. I just don’t learn about tractors on this forum, I am able to get information on any topic. The members on this forum are more helpful than any other forum I have been on.

Tell us about your tractors and equipment:

Kubota L4240 with cab and LA854 loader, Kubota BX2360 with 54’’ mid mount mower, Ditch Witch 350SX with a Deutz diesel and vibratory plow, various attachments for the tractors

What was your first tractor memory or experience?

When I was 3 or 4 years old a family friend put his John Deere Backhoe in low gear at an idle and let me drive it as he walked beside of it.

What sort of modifications or customization have you done to your tractor?

I’ve added work lights to both tractors. I also added LED strips to the back of them that flash with the 4 ways so I can be seen better when I am on the road or working close to the road. I also added a back up camera to the L4240.

What sort of tools, attachments or equipment do you use with your tractor on a regular basis?

I use my pallet forks a lot. I have a set for the 3 point that I use with both tractors and I have a set of forks for the skid steer quick attach for the L4240. I also use my Everything Attachments Wicked root grapple a lot. It is my favorite attachment. I also have quick hitches on both tractors. They make changing implements a breeze.

Do you have any advice for first-time tractor owners?

Get the tractor you want and get it equipped the way you want it. You are probably going to have it a long time.

Have you completed any major projects with your tractor?

Last year I hauled off 17+ loads of brush on a 1 ton truck with a 12’ bed. The tractor and grapple made the job a lot easier.

Do you maintain crops?

I have a small vegetable garden that provides me fresh produce throughout the summer.

Do you have any specific skills or trade?

I’m a mechanic.

What is something most TractorByNet members don’t know about you?

I’m a brown belt in American Kenpo Karate.
