"We purchased this tractor for taking care of of our small farm consisting of growing Christmas trees to grass hay and we haven't been disappointed. It has been a real asset whether we are using the front end loader to the rotating mower for removing brush. The low speeds have been excellent for roto-tilling virgin ground."

"I purchased my MF 1652 tractor including FEL w/4 in 1 bucket, Woods BBX 72 Brush Hog and Woods 72" Box Blade in December 2011.
My intent was to clear and landscape 14 acres of partially fire damaged hardwood forest. The ultimate goal is to build a new home, barn and about 8 acres of horse pasture. Much of the burned portion had been felled and the stumps ripped out using a bulldozer leaving many, many holes. I dropped around 100 dead and storm damaged oak trees.
The tractor and attachments have been more than up to everything I have asked of them. I have cut roads with the assistance of my Stihl 440 Magnum chain saw, hauled 8 to 10 foot logs of up to 30" diameter as well as large stumps using the 4 in one bucket, cut heavy brush and undergrowth that you couldn't walk through, hauled dirt, filled holes and graded using the box blade. The next task will be to disc the pasture, seed, fertilize and pray for fall rains.
My only concerns with the tractor are the 12 forward and reverse speeds. With few exceptions only the top four gears are usable. The slowest 7 gears are useless. When bush hogging I wish I could control the PTO speed separately from the ground speed. At the 2,100 rpms necessary to run the BH, the tires spin easily and suddenly (fluid rilled R1's).
Also, the hydraulic capacity of the FEL, using the bucket to grab and lift large trees gets overwhelmed when using the box blade as a counterweight.
Overall, I am completely happy with the performance, build quality and reliability of this tractor. I have asked a lot of such a small tractor and she hasn't let me down."

"I plow snow for my home town, have a 8 foot reversible plow on front with quick detach bucket and 88" wide Frontier snowblower on back. Great combo but I want to install a front mount pto 3 pt hitch so I don't have to back up all the time. I'm looking into that now...if anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears. thanks a lot
I have not had much time in the tractor but so far..I like it a lot...it is hydro, very simple to operate. I had a New Holland but all the computer programming to use it drove me nuts."
