"Bought the Lo-Boy to plow snow. It does an excellent job as long as I keep tire chains on rear tires."
REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pros: Dependable, fun to operate.Cons: Can't pile snow high, so it has to be pushed way back to make room for the next storm.Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 AcresLocation: USA MAI also considered buying: REVIEWER'S PHOTOS
Cub Lo Boy
Model year: 1957Date Purchased: 2008-07-20Number of Hours: 163
"I got this one when my Cub Cadet of 15 years gave out. I needed something to plow the 900' drive and do light landscaping. This 12HP has never failed to get through the snow with the only thing being that I must use 2nd gear which is slower than I now want.
I have the original bill of sale, photos of the fella I bought it from with me in it. I have a carry-all with original paint still on it. I am currently looking for maybe a 2620 Kubota with a bucket. This Lo Boy has 163 hrs on a meter I put on when I got it and old Ray said he thought it had maybe 50 hrs on the rebuild. A very simplistic machine built like a tank."
