ZD1211 50 hour service done.

I did the 50 hour service today so it would be ready to go next spring.
Fortunately the mower was on my lift with the new filter ready to install.
As soon as I turned it off 2~3 turns it was a flood of oil. I quickly spun the old filter off & the new on on.
I still lost approximately 1/2 quart.
Just a heads up to have everything ready and some speedi dry on hand & a drain pan.

Had changed engine oil and filter and easy to reach upper hyd filter a couple months ago on ZD1211. Couldn't find the lower filter. Finally located it and a couple of weeks ago, backed mower up on ramps and finally got Gorilla tightened filter off, lots hyd fluid like you and fairly quickly got new filter on with about the same lose as you. About 60 hours on the ZD and F and F has a flat tire now, was flta when I mowed last aired it up and mowed and returned it to barn shed and wife told me yesterday it is flat flat. Now a chore to look forward to after having a couple of front tire going flat on MX a couple weeks ago. Always something to maintain with multiple machines.
