Spring has gotten me motivated to get my RM59 back together. This morning I pressed the 3 spindles/bearings/seals back together and noticed something I wish I had caught during the disassembly phase: The spindles aren't the same.

Here's the belt routing diagram for reference:

The three blade spindles are labeled "step 1" "step 6" and "step 7". One of them is about 3/8" shorter than the others, but I'm not sure which one it's supposed to be.

I'm betting it's "step 1" because the pulley at "step 2" is a little bigger than the others, so it would bring the belt closer to the deck in that location.

If somebody has an RM59 and a tape measure, I'd sure appreciate some guidance in this matter.

Thanks!
