Kubota B3200
I found this LR800 for sale locally on craigs list. I'm pretty much a tractor newbie. Have a Kubota B3200. I'm having a bank dug out to put in a garage, will have the contractor get the material where I need it and use the tractor to get it right. Will need a rake to get out some of the rocks (there will be lots of them). The tines on this look fairly tweaked to me. Is it worth taking a look or should I pass? Tractor doesn't currently have rear hydraulics but it will soon (hopefully).

I'd appreciate any thoughts. The pics are kind of limited.

WOODS 8 FOOT LANDSCAPE RAKE

Thanks!

I'd jump on that one fast. It's older but looks to be in decent shape( may need a few tines replaced) and with the hydro angle and flip down blade I doubt it'll last long.

And it's got the gauge wheels with it too, which are nice to have.

I think you could straighten most of those tines to work well enough. Hook the tines with a large pipe wrench and bend them back into alignment. A little heating and tweaking and welding and you would have a very nice rake.
I would consider adding the offset cylinder too.

About the rocks, you might also consider a rock bucket for your purposes. From your description you want to rake the rocks out of the dirt pulled out of the embankment. A rock bucket to sift through this dirt might work better.

I went to look at the rake today. Unfortunately it was a bit too "used" for me at the moment. The grader blade was bent in the center easily 2 inches, there were probably 8 straight tines on the whole rake, the bracket for the power angle was bent (and that was some thick steel), the cylinder had a decent amt of pits/rust, etc. If the blade hadn't been bent, I may have considered it. I haven't gotten my garage built yet so working on things is much more difficult than usual (most of my tools are buried from the move). For someone looking for a heavy rake that needs some tlc, it's probably worthwhile. The search continues...
