Winch saved the day ( or a long walk )

I also strongly agree that all need an ATV winch. I was on a day long ride a couple of weeks ago,prior to this trip I hadn't even come close to getting my Polaris stuck since I have had it. That day I got horribly stuck three times in about 200'. If the people I was riding with had not had winch's I am pretty sure I would still be there.
The very next day I went out and bought a 3500' winch, I may never have to use it ,but without i,t I would never go on another long ride through the bush........Craig

I agree, when I bought my 400HO, I bought a warn rt 25 with it.

Who makes that box KG? Is it Polaris lock and ride? I want storage, but dont care for a 2 up seat.

Williambos, yes it is the Polaris lock and ride box. It's actually my wife's, when I bought the ATV's She said she wanted storage for" stuff". I originally thought I would never need one but having used it now a couple of times when she wasn't coming riding I am going to pick one up for me. It is held on by two expanding rubber plugs,real easy to remove and install.....Craig

Craig, is the box anchored at opposite corners? Is it locked down tight?

One lock on each side, plus one pin that fits in one of the existing holes in the plastic rack. It is very solid and well thought out. It doesn't move at all even under very spirited riding., but it can be moved from my 500 to my 400 in about ten seconds......Craig
