I use the big ratcheting straps. One around the front axle/bumper, and one through the holes in the rear rims. The front strap pulls forward, and the rear one pulls back.

Your rear rims have holes in them?

Mine don't, did you get those wheels that multiposition on width? My manual shows the settings for widthes,
but I'm pretty sure my wheels move like that.

The straps don't deform the fenders at all. The angles to the tiedown rings are such that it's not an issue.
