IMO 12K USD used is way too much even if it looks in excellent shape.

Are you in BC? If so you can do better on pricing.

As to parts availability. Find an online Kubota Parts source such as Messicks | Your home for New Holland, Case IH, Kubota & More... and pull up that model number and search. Kubota does a very good job of supporting their offerings with parts.

Jeepers these things are small for 12k and being 25 years old at 2200hr, I say its worth 8k at most.

No one says you can't call a dealer service department and pick their brains. They are usually happy also to tell you what machines are good and which to avoid.

The PNW was flooded with gray market machines for years. All makes, but seemed like predominantly Hitachi for excavators.

Messicks says they can help with grey market on some, from my limited experience with excavators those machines sometimes require lots of help...
