What year is my Ford 5000

Is there a way to find out the exact year of my 5000 if the serial number is missing?

It looks like it was ground off at some point but not on purpose.

I don't see how the number could be ground off accidentally. Are you sure you're looking in the right place? TractorData.com Ford 5 tractor information

Yeah I'm sure I'm looking in the right place. I obviously can't confirm that it was an accident because I wasn't there, but it sure looks like it.

Had to look and see where you put this thread.

Should have put it in the ford/new Holland forum. Might have gotten better results there.

But, there are some very knowledgeable Ford guys here. Someone will come up with a way to figure it out based on how it's equipped. Might be something so simple as the trim stripes or headlights or whatever.

You really need to add some pics of your tractor to this thread. Several. Good detail pics. NOT close ups.

Someone will help your figure it out. I'm curious to hear the solution!!!
