Usually they are a 2 and 5/16 but could be a 2 in I've also seen them in a pintle style depending on the weight of the trailer
I picked up the only new 14' dual axle 7000lb landscape trailer left in Michigan (according to the internet) last Fall. 4 wheel brakes, only 1 set of shoes made contact with the drums, tire pressure ranged from a low of 6 psi all the way up to 20 psi, pinch style electrical connections that will hold up almost 20 minutes in the winter salt here in Michigan, wheel bearings packed by a one handed blind person and shiny black finish with more sand and weld splatter than Michigan uses for traction in the winter BUT it does have a 2 5/16" coupler.@RickB There are a few still around but my area was covered with Sikeston MO 16 foot landscape style angle iron frame no gate, no ramp 2 idler axle, used car tire trailers direct from the factory for $900.
Is that 2" coupler rated for 5K like mine was?My 18 foot 7000 pound Load Trail with dual axles car hauler came with a 2 inch receiver, but on the website you can order them with either 2 inch or 2 5/16 inch.
