2 weeks ago, I put my snowblower on to ensure that we don’t get any snow this year!

Racer - I can report to you that if you live near Erie, PA or Buffalo, NY your plan has backfired!

Ha. No, thankfully I live in northeast PA. I can still see my grass.

LOL serviced and tested mine few weeks back but ground so soft I did not dare use it this storm.

Well, it's been YEARS since we've had snow --that stayed-- this early. After our T-Day foot of snow it turned cold, so it's still there... but I never finished getting my wood in!

Brought in 3 FEL-loads yesterday, still have about the same left, but we got hit with another inch of fluff last night and are scheduled for at least 3-6" tonight. Sheesh. I'm getting too old for this....

Had an eye appt Monday, and was informed that my eyes (without any glasses) are now bad enough that it's illegal for me to drive! (I knew my eyesight was getting worse but didn't realize it was quite that bad...)

So it's use the FEL to get more wood in today, cancel driving the RV into storage (salt now all over the roads from yesterday), then swap the FEL for the blower and wait for the next round of snow.

During the "snow squall" last night there was a cute post on my daughter's Facebook: "Whoever shook the snow globe needs to go on a time out!"

Been a while since I posted anything....but here is an introduction to my 1723E a video I made of installing a block heater

have block heater and battery tender on my 2010 GC2400, block heater seldom used but its there for those -0F starts. well worth the money IMHO. plug it in and 40 minutes later coolant is warmed up. if yours is like mine its not thermostatically controlled so do not leave it plugged in 24-7.
battery tender and maintainer used daily.

over last few days added edge tamers to bucket and moved the 20ft trailer around ( gc2400 handles it well with no snow in it) a few times to add gorilla lift to it.
once rain stops and ground freezes gonna load tractor/fel/blower onto trailer and figure best positioning. got lot of leeway on this trailer.

Well my blower certainly had a hard time with this morning's slush! It did it, but I had to stop about 6 times to clear blockage in the discharge chute... but it's not like I didn't expect that to happen. Hate this rain-to-snow stuff! I'm just hoping it'll melt & clear off before the cold snap that's supposed to begin this afternoon. We're looking at below zero by Sat. night/Sunday AM. Never a dull moment.....
