Used JD Garden Tractor for Mother in Law

My MIL lives in upstate NY, has used JD most of her adult life, and wants a mower to augment her GX335. She bought a Craftsman something or another with power steering (against my advice), hates it and is sending it back.

What can anyone recommend that has power steering, a 52-54 inch deck and is suitable for mowing 2 acres weekly?

A JD X360 would be just the ticket. It also has a hydraulic deck lift in addition to power steering. Not every dealer is going to have them in stock, but they can order them and get them delivered pretty quickly. I believe the standard deck is 48", but they can be ordered with the 54" as an option.

Another vote for the x340, it is standard with the 54" deck. If she has lots of obstacles maybe move up to an aws model.
