Doesn't Kawasaki make a bunch of thier engines at thier Nebraska plant?

pretty much all lawn and garden equipment has a frame and plastics that are done here, but the major assemblies (ie, Tuff-Torque transmission, Kawaski engine, etc) are imported.

Are you sure about that? ................. Tuff Torque though a Japanese company, has a manufacturing plant in Morristown, Tn. Kawasaki has plants in Maryville, Missouri and Lincoln, Nebraska.

John Deere's 4320, 4520, and 4720 have JD four cylinder engines built in Ohio and nearly all of it is made in the USA with a great deal of its materials coming from Georgia I believe. Smaller engines turn japanese
