I have just over 40+ hours on the wee lil' beasty and they have been some of the happiest times of my life ..This weeks little victory was to reclaim a bit more of the field /garden from being over grown by weeds and brush . I had the good fortune to get a used cultervator/ scarfier (?)from my dealer I figured it would help clean up by the stone wall that I had cleared this last winter . Let me tell you I had about 5 hours of some of the greatest fun running back and forth over that small piece pulling old tree roots and grape vine roots out , some up to 6" in diameter the tractor had no problem pulling this stuff out , it did have trouble keeping traction , due to the soil being so dry . This cultervator (?) was made by International Machine Corp. Out of Ohio I have not found anything about the company as of yet , but what I have has about 8-9 heavy spring loaded hooks that will pull out rocks and roots , On the off chance it hooks some thing it cann't get they just spring up and over it . I found that a second or thrid passes it will pull what ever is hooked on . I then was able to run my kuhn tiller throught the area without any fear of rocks or roots , ..... What a great day it was !!!
