Uber or Lyft how to use ? Are they good?

We've had very good luck with Uber in many cities and in Europe. One suggestion. You pay for the ride directly to Uber with your credit card. Carry cash to tip the driver. They like that and will give you a high rating. The higher your rating, the more drivers will want to pick you up and you get quicker service.

Yep, Uber now in parts of Asia too! Tip situation changing. Uber drivers used to refuse tips. Now the company is starting to make allowances and changing the process. Not necessarily expected though... yet!

I started using Uber a year ago when parking my pickup truck downtown became more and more difficult with the surface parking lots being developed with buildings. After probably eight rides I have had nothing but good service and experiences. And I have always enjoyed meeting the Uber driver and talking with him (all men so far).
