OK so how about a few comments from the trailer experts here on how I am tying down my B2920 to my trailer.
I am not looking for the Chain / Binders vs Strapping arguments but more about where on the tractor I am tying to (or should be tying to).
I am having a devil of a time finding an area to clamp to in the back. As you can see I am looping (or should I say "nesting") a chain in the BH wells and using the holes in the DrawBar with the hooks of strapping. Can anyone give me any idea how can I solidly can tie down the rear?
As for the front - there are D Rings right under the front frame plate so I just loop the ratchet binders without the need of chain. In one pic you will see I trailered the tractor with my cultivator / hiller implement so I strapped over the cultivator bar since the webbing would have been cut like a knife through butter from the hiller discs. I did use heavy padding between the bar and the nylon web of the strap. I also tie down the loader with the strap as well.
Thanks in advance.
