Towing issues picking up a new tractor package

Have a problem picking up a used tractor that will be used here. It has a trailer, but all of the equipment won't fit on the trailer at one time, which means two trips! My F350 DRW truck is currently in line to have the clutch replaced at my place of employment (no labor charge, but they take FOREVER!!) My options are to pay the seller $250 per trip to move the stuff to my house, or just spend the same $500 paying someone to move it for me. I have friends with trucks big enough to pull it, but not with a gooseneck ball in the bed. So my options are limited.
Once the F350 gets repaired, moving the tractor and trailer around won't be a problem. Most likely the eight foot bush hog will be used if I decide to go somewhere further than the tractor can be driven.
Does anyone have an idea of cost of paying someone to replace a clutch in a 2000 F350 DRW 6 speed?
Does anyone have any alternate ideas of how to move a tractor, an 8 foot mower, a 15 foot batwing, a grapple and a set of FEL forks and a gooseneck trailer with a 1500 Silverado, lol?

for 100 bucks a day plus 99 cents a mile- you can rent the largest uhaul truck with car trailer for the day. lets say it 100 miles rt then fuel for another 100 bucks then you are out of 300 bucks total . the seller offering 250 twice at his expense and time and hopefully you can be there to receive it . only take one hour of your time ?.hmm no brainer. or you can let him wait till your truck is fixed.

Why not give that $500 to your local auto shop to replace the clutch? Clutches aren't that big of a job if you have the tools and a tranny lift.

Problem with that is, I haven't seen any U-haul trucks with goose neck capabilities. The items will be transported on the trailer that comes with the deal. My current trailer is not wide enough to load the batwing.

I have a 35+5 GN trailer. How in the world are you loading everything on their in one trip? What is the tractor? My bet is your going to be very heavy. Also, what's the rush? Wouldn't it make sense to wait till your truck is fixed for free labor and then go? Other option, get on ford truck enthusiast. I'm sure there's guys that would jump at the chance to actually get to pull a trailer with their grocery getter. Bet it would be done for fuel and lunch

You know I read that twice and still missed it. Have the seller move the tractor and batwing on the trailer and use a bumper pull and Silverado for the rest of the stuff. Then your only out $250 plus your fuel

I would love to do that!!!
For a Ford F350 diesel (7.3 liter powerstroke) the price range I have found via the internet is currently running a little more than twice that, up to about three times that, as long as there are no imput shaft problems. Time frame is the main reason, as I expect to finalize this deal in the next two days, and it would probably take that to get a clutch done.
I got the seller to agree to make one trip with a load, but I have to figure out a way to haul a Kubota M7040 while he is doing it.

Ok, couple of answers...
50 miles each way...which is why $250 a trip is a little high, or at least it seems to me.
I got the seller to agree to move one load, as part of the package price, but then he upped the price on me (just kidding, I actually messed up when I figured the price, but he is coming down to where I was "starting' so all is well, I just won't get any "better deal" on everything, like I was hoping to negotiate.
I have located a truck to use (F350 SRW) However it is a gooseneck only truck, and my trailer is a 5th wheel. Seller's truck is a gooseneck only truck also, so we can't pull my trailer without my truck. Need two trailers....Now, the relative with the truck I will be using also has a trailer, but it is BRAND NEW, and is used for "show". I would really hate to scratch that trailer and have to paint it! I am considering doing that anyway, and just haul the Kubota on that trailer.
It sure would be easier to do this if I had been born rich instead of so good looking, lol!!

50 loaded miles for $250 is $5 per loaded mile. That seems high even for a short trip. I paid $1.72 /loaded mile to have a Kubota L5740 moved from Wisconsin to southern Colorado earlier this year. Obviously you can't get those rates on a very short haul, but if someone bought equipment from me I wouldn't charge anything to move it 50 miles for a single trip, maybe $100 or $125 for the 2nd trip. Not that it helps you any. And yes, I've heard born rich beats good looking every time, but I wouldn't know either way.
