Henro I wasn't aware of that until I made my last purchase and the dealer asked me if my tires were filled. He called the sealant for filled tires Hydro Seal whereas I am using the product called Multi Seal heavy duty in my unfilled tires. I have also used Slime in the past but in my opinion I believe Multi Seal to be a better product. It has suspended synthetic fibers that quickly fill in breaches.
Evasive1 the folks that sell the Multi Seal product will tell you exactly how much of the product that you will need for each tire. My TC-40D used 2 quarts for each front tire and 1-1/2 gallons for each rear tire. I purchased a 5 gallon pail so that I would be left with an extra gallon of the material. 5 gallons of Multi Seal set me back 210.00 + tax & shipping.
The sealant itself is not inexpensive but considering the fact that it will eliminate down time due to flats and save you time and money repairing tires makes it a worthwhile product. Loading a leaking non-protected ballast filled rear tire on a trailer to get it repaired would most certainly make any good day turn ugly. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
