Mine is rear-mounted. I built a frame from angle iron, welded it, primed and painted it, then mounted it to my carry-all using grade 8 bolts. The carry-all holds my concrete ballast block, so it is not for multi-use anyway. The next step is to weld a class 3 trailer hitch mount to it, so I can move it to other implements. Then, I can add a few cheap $10 class 4-to-3 reducers to the various implements as a receiver. Cheap and effective. I might also ditch the bolts and put a receiver somewhere on the carry-all.
I chose the rear mount, since my loader might get in then way for most use, and I can't use the loader to help while the winch cable is out.
