There should a lot of metrics that are considered, measurable ones, when considering the success of the POTUS. Not, the media doesn't like them.

To name a few: foreign relations, economic measures, fuel prices, strategic direction of environmental agencies, public safety, race relations within the country, educations systems, military strength and advancement, taxes and government spending and fiscal responsibility. Just to name a few.

I thought it was just a popularity contest like School president.

I try not to ignore any facts, but I do see that my wallet is stretched more than I have ever seen it stretched, I see that the left and right is pushed farther and farther apart, I see a administration that promised transparency but it is more opaque than any administration I remember, I see a POTUS that seems to be covering his rear end regarding the crimes of him and his family…

I wouldn't be surprised if the president followed soon. It's tough to hang in when your 70+yr life partner is gone. I saw it with my inlaws.


btw, I wasn't a fan of his administration but I've never heard anyone who hasn't admired his post presidency.

I agree, I think Jimmie was a good human, just not a good president.

Totally the opposite of the current resident of the executive mansion, in regards to the first item!

At least in some respect Jimmie did redeem himself for his failed presidency, although he still voted for killing millions of babies.
