ok
so, you got a 1010 and a 2020
which one has how much hp?????
exactly
YOU HAVE NO IDEA
and since hp tells you size which gets you in the ballpark
I couldn't tell you the difference in JD's without a roadmap and I don't want a roadmap
I had the kubota's figured out at one time but not without looking.

annoys the ***** out of me.

how did they get 5 more HP out of the same motor? why can the 55 owners bump theres up to 60Hp?

I guess they have a $500 rebate for the TC55 also going on plus the 2.9% financing. Man thats a good deal.

Regardless, the 2020 John Deere has more power then the 1010 John Deere (roughly 15 more horses) hence the larger one is a 2000 series. If NH goes with a similar system the 2000 series will have more hp then the 1000 series.

What NH is trying to do is come up with a common system they can use around the world. NH North America pushes Engine hp while Europe uses more PTO hp in the model designations.

HP does not tell you the size. I can get roughly a 90-95 horse NH tractor in the TN-F (which is really compact for that much hp), TN standard, TL, TK TB, TDD, TS or TM. How does hp tell you what size the tractor is? What hp number are you asking about (engine or pto)? A tractor is classified by its frame size which is why there are different classes of compacts. HP is really a useless number as the frame size of the tractor is what really matters. How many times do you hear someone on here say they would like this tractor but it is too big so then go down a class.

I guess I can understand this system rather easily so please don't tell me that I have no idea. The larger the number the bigger the tractor.

Getting 1.25hp out of each cylinder is too easy. Just a slightly larger injector orifice, and a slight tweek to the turbo waste gate, and bangO, 5 extra ponies:) .......May install a different material head gasket to take a little more combustion chamber pressure. :p

Actually I think think they get the extra HP like this. In the spec sheet they just type 60HP instead of 55HP :) - it's as easy as that...

Larry, couple of questions, you said "There are also current NH discounts available for the month of March." what are the deals for March with low interest? Also can you tell me the current list for A TC55D with EHSS so i can compare and i will do the math to see how much i save on the 55. Im not forgetting about the 55 with 2.9 thats for sure. My quick math as of now says if list prices are equal i will save $6000 in interest over 8 years. Roughly $60 a month difference. Looks like i would be gaining just 3 h.p. at the pto and looks like the same motor as the 55? Different turbo?

Oh yeah Larry, when does that 2.9% financing run out?

Mike

Mike,
The new recommended list on a TC55DA with EHSS trans and 14.9 x 28 Ag tires is $23,850. With a loader it is $29,900. This does not include calcium loading the tires, tax, prep fees or delivery. Your local dealer will govern those costs.

There is a 2% dealer savings allowance thru March end and the 2.9% financing also expires March 31st. There is also $1,500 cash back for a cash deal (or securing your own financing not through CNH...bank, credit union etc) but the 2.9% is hard to pass up!

Again, these prices are a guidline. Your dealer may offer a reduced price in order to move the tractors.

Thanks,
Larry

so far the quote is 27,900 with R4 and loader and ehss for a tc55d i know the dealer cost is around 25,900 i think so i have a little room to bargain. How much to add remote hydraulics? he said $500 and i thought that was high.

is there a $500 rebate during march?

If i order one will it be one thats hanging around somewhere for a year? I want a brand new one from georgia and prefer a 2007 build. Is that possible?

ROTO,
I think the dealer cost is closer to $23,000 for a TC55 EHSS loader ready (210 package) with R4's if I added in everthing.

Does loader ready mean no actual loader, just the hydralics etc.? Thanks.
