Tecumseh 10 HP air filter

I have a good 10 HP Tecumseh snow blower engine that I want to put on a Chipper. The snow blower motors have no air filter on them so I want to add one to keep dust and dirt out.. Does anybody know what will fit from another model? May need to do some adapting? Also the cooling air from the motor fan blows onto the carb. Will this be a problem? Probably will not use it if temp is over 70 degrees.

Can you post a photo of the engine and the covering over the carb.

I think that some of the B&S lawn mower engines have a filter bracket that bolts to the carb.

They won't fit. My friend who works on small engines has lots of used parts and we checked.

Wish I could have put the cover on the filter but not enough room because of the throttle lever. I guess for what little I'll be using it I can replace the filter when it gets dirty.

You could put one of those foam dust covers on it.
