TC35D HELP!!!-Blew Something on the Hydro Pedals

I was using a box blade and when all of a sudden my forward pedal would not return. I then had to press the reverse pedal to make the forwrd pedal return/stop. After getting it back to the house (what a ride trying to balance the pedals) I checked and noticed that I am leaking Hydro fluid from somewhere underneath the center of the tractor.

OUCH! I was all ready to suggest your pedal return spring, but what you describe seems to be related to a seal in the hydro tranny itself. Is it possible something broke and pierced one ot the hydraulic lines under the platform? If you have a loader, all the hydraulic lines are routed underneath the platform and up to the joystick valve. Whatever the problem, I hope you get it fixed soon and please let us know what caused it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think you're right about looking at the spring AND something else. Even without fluid, the spring should return the pedals to neutral. This is a mechanical function not a hydraulic one...right ???

I'll guess that something tore up the spring and a hydro line. There is a small length of rubber hose, about 3" long, that couples the two main hydraulic lines front to back. I think its right in the area of the hydro pedal linkage.

I've had a pinhole leak in the main hydralic line that runs on top of the hydrostatic transmission.. but it didn't give me any problems w/ the Hydro pedals. Time to call the dealer.. sorry.. def. no fun!
