TC29D - What is this hole/bolt?

Under the tractor, on the center-line between the transmission drain plug and the spline shaft for the front axle there is a hole/bolt. I say that because it was a threaded hole when I discovered it, but since it is threaded, I'm assuming there should be a bolt/plug in it. I can't find any reference as to what it is in the owners manual, but I had hydro fluid leaking out of it. Can someone tell me what it is?

I looked at my TC29 and it has the same threaded hole that that yours has. Mine doesn't have any oil leaking out of it but I don't know what it is there for.

They probably use that transmission case for different tractor models besides the TC29 and that hole might be used on one of those machines.(I'm just guessing).

Does yours have a plug in it or is it open?
