Tandem disc harrow Size for a M7040

I am looking to buy a 12 Tandem Disc for my M7040 Cab/4WD shuttle shift. Will the tractor pull it? We have sandy loam soil here in Texas where I live.

I'd say yes, but! It would depend on the weight of the disc harrow, there are some out there that weigh out at more then 1,000 lbs per foot which it wouldn't! You don't need to go over 200 lbs per foot in sandy soil.

I have a M6800 2 wheel drive and I pull a 10 to 12 foot disk I think. Think the front gang is 10 feet and rear is 12 or there about with 20 inch blades. You have four wheel drive and that I think is biggest difference in engine between the two tractors.
