does anyone think the new d stops toooooo fast when in work mode and you let off the gas to stop or reverse direction? with the c in the higher rpms it seemed almost perfect in work mode - you let off the gas and you would come to a smooth but fast stop. with the d you let off the gas and your tires are almost skidding (sliding on the snow to be exact). in non work non rabbitt mode it is much better but for running hyd attachments such as broom and blower i thought the work mode is the preferred mode. also when in cruise how do you stop? in work mode i was sweeping at 5mph and hit the cruise to turn it off and my son almost flew off his seat. touch the brake in any mode and hold on because if you don't have your seatbelt on you may be eating the front windshield. is this adjustable??? i am going to ask the dealer.

thx

You bought a D, very nice. I have an ASV that stops rather fast, but I have learned to ease off the throttle rather than switching from travel speed to idle with an abrupt stroke. Actually, as I think about it, it is the hydraulics that I am feathering (joy stick), not the throttle.

You will get the hang of coming out of cruise with time. I step on the accelerator as I turn it off so that I can then ease down on my speed. I rarely use the brake

Yes, I think it stops too fast. Not a huge deal but I just about sent my dog through the front windshield this AM (she was sitting in the passenger seat). I was trying out a new snow blade and was focused on that and took my foot completely off the hydro pedal while in work mode. I went from about 6 MPH to nearly zip in a very short distance.

I got to sit in a D yesterday at the dealership. It was quite impressive. Really nice layout. Lots of great improvements over my B.

I've noticed that on my B (650 hrs) it is actually taking longer to stop in work mode that it used to. It will roll for that extra half second. Not a big deal, just have to get used to it. I'm wondering if it is just getting broken in or if my new tires have something to do with it.

My big problem with stopping too fast comes if I am not careful signaling a left turn....:)
