On this last trip to "the property" I settled right in to what is now my "normal" routine of scratching the dirt and slogging through the mud -- good solid tractor chores. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif On Thanksgiving morning I went for a stroll at about 7 a.m. to take some pictures of muddy tracks in the road and other trouble spots I needed to work on. I was near culvert #2 when I happened to tear my gaze away from the muck and mire and looked back across the pond towards the house. I suddenly realized that I've been oblivious to my surroundings ever since I started workin' the dirt. Attached is a picture of what I'd been missing.
I then remembered a number of photos I'd seen on this message board, such as:
John Newkirk's high country, summer and winter,
JimBinMI's pole barn in the snow,
Derek Rowski's Northern Vermont foliage and rolling mountains,
Paul B's grassy acres.
Muhammad's busy New York streets and parking lots, and of course, his now famous back yard. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
From now on I will try to look up a little more often. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
