Std. or HD pallet forks?

I know it's not the same, but my Titan clamp on forks are excellent. Have used them on large loaders to max capacity. No issues.

$337 forks don’t exist anymore.
heck… I don’t think $600 forks exist…

Well I guess I’ll go back to my original post then… don’t get me wrong… I’m not “independently wealthy“, however, one thing I’ve learned in my 66+ years is not to cheap out on things I’ll use… sometimes it’s better to bite-the-bullet the first time around rather than buy something twice…

If I could find some decent 3000# forks for a good price… that would terrific… somehow, that just not happening

Maybe the used market?

With steel at the cost it is now… prices suck. With the lift available from your tractor i dont see the need for heavy duty.

We have a CK4010SE. Same tractor and loader pretty much.

Either one is fine. The "standard" already exceeds your maximum lift capacity. Each fork can handle more than your tractor can lift even a couple of inches off the ground.

I'd just decide by whether the machined forks are something you think you need or not, otherwise save the money.

I have the Land Pride PFL3048 3000# 48" forks for both my tractors. I run out of tractor before I run out of forks, even with the WM75.

Always get heavy duty everything
Not really needed when the machine weighs less then the capacity of the standard duty forks.

I checked the specs on your machine and a ck2610 is showing 1250lb lift capacity at the pins. The forks weigh about 300lbs. So your at 900lb loft capacity at the pins and no load is lifted under the pins in this case. You will be lucky to lift 700lbs in the middle of the forks...well under 3klbs

The CK10 series now come with an up-rated KL4030 FEL… lift capacity 1835… but I get what you’re saying… that’s still well under a 2000# light-duty fork set…

i Keep going back to the delivered cost… many, if not most, of the light duty forks arrive at my door with a price well in excess of the ES HD forks… I looked at one $599 light-duty set which had a $498 freight charge…

…and getting on my soapbox for just a minute… freight charges from the reputable manufacturers aren’t disclosed until I put all my info (address, email, phone number) in their system… my spam folder is getting fuller and my phone is blowing up with inquiries as to why I didn’t buy their $599 forks for $1100 (after freight charges are included)…

WHEW…got that off my chest…

For $85 dollars and 5 pounds of weight I would go with the HD, yes your current tractor would be just fine with the lighter duty ones but if you ever upgrade or even just borrow a heavier tractor sometime or just for reselling down the line the HD would sell easier.
