Star Fire Premium Trans Hydraulic Oil

Anyone ever use this stuff? Atwood’s has it on sale and I’m wondering if it’s any good. Also does anyone know if it’s GL4 rated?

Starfire is pretty vague in its description:

The vague description tells you the likely quality, piss poor.

Hydraulic oil specs are set by the product manufacturer. Theres no 3rd party testing like with engine oil.

So if your machine has any type of wet clutch, wet brake or hydro drive then use only what the manufacturer of the tractor sells with there name on it. It's not worth trying to save $40 on a 5gal bucket.
