Most fork frames do not have any extra angle built in.

News to me I thought they all did, the few I've seen in person all did. A quick peek at the EA page and ya, looks like about half of them have none. Buuutttt, that one you showed does have additional built in when you look at the 360 view ;)

Here it is using the other pin holes.

Obviously it has more rollback and a better dump angle at full lift.

Unfortunately it looks like its at about +5 degrees from vertical. I'll have to get it in an even surface to be sure. I think I could live with the latch boxes at 90 degrees if I just had to cut on the 'blue' line to reuse the ears.

I could keep the pins in the shorter spacing most of time and switch to the farther spacing if I was using the bucket for something that needed the extra curl force.

Cutting the blue line and using the shorter spacing adding a smaller wedge on the tractor side only might also work...

That gives the preferred bucket extremes with some loss of curl force. That two hole ear set is a valuable option. I would build up those ears to give a little more than 5 degree back tip on the ssqa plate using the short holes. -- I know you want to keep it as close in as possible, but its only going to "cost" an extra half inch or so at the bottom. -- The long holes will give you less tip, but when you need more articulation force youll be glad theyre there. ... Convenient.

From those 2 pics, I would still cut the original blue line or the split blue/red I'd suggested earlier but rotate the bucket 15 deg or so before welding the new QA plate onto it. You've got tons of dump angle but SFA for roll back at ground level in my opinion.

Alright ... Here is the plan ;)

Cut the blue line and add a little to the ears to get a 'minus five' back angle when using the short pin spacing.

I'll weld the adapter plate to the blue cut line on the bucket side.

That will maintain the two pin spacing option and give me slightly less dump but more rollback. I'll use the short pin spacing most of the time but be able to switch to the longer if needed for extra curl force. Which I don't think I'll need that often.

Just need to wait to my birthday so the kids can give me the plasma cutter I just ordered :)

The nose of the loader arm rotates behind the adapter plate. I would check to see there is adequate clearance if welding the adapter plate to ear on the blue line.

Worth keeping an eye on but he should have lots of clearance as he's going to add an extra wedge in there for the -5 rollback
