Just posting because I want to bait the tie down police...
full disclosure, I was sitting still when I took the picture and I was only going a half mile on the hwy and I was following the wife with the loader, if they didn't fall off in the field they definitely weren't falling off on the road..

What keeps the ones on the beavertail from rolling off?
That is how Uhaul has their trailers setup. I suspect that its due to loads under 10k only needing 2 tie downs, but I agree that it seems foolish.

Seems like a liability to me. As well as giving a person that doesn't know the rules a false sense of security and bad information. Technically in the rule book those two tie downs need to be front and back, not side by side. I`m thinking the person would get a shock and a ticket for improperly secured load if they were in a wreck :2cents:
How do you think a vehicle towed on a tow-dolly should be tied down?
How is that different then a car trailer?

Because the tire webbing is secured front and back of the tire, it passes. Yes, at least one more in the rear is better, especially for walking of the rear, but its not required. The last time I used one, the instructions said to place in park and engage parking brake fully.. Pretty sure most of these have a front 'stop' as well.
Must be good enough.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
