Do any of the dealers have these on hand? I would like to be able to do my own repairs, labor costs are a killer! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Thank you /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I think I'd like one for the CK20 also and havn't even checked on them. I'll watch this thread with interest and probably be right behind you in line with whatever advise you get on where to pick these up.

I'm pretty mechanically inclined and have rebuilt a few car engines myself, but until I got this tractor had a deep, ingrained fear of diesels and hydraulics (passed down from my father).

I'm quickly getting over that and discovering tractors are far simpler than cars and that diesels in general are pretty simple. I dread the day I need to do injector work though. Everything else is the same or simpler on diesels.

I bought the Kioti shop and parts manuals for my CK20...it took a while (6 months?) for them to come out after the tractors were first available. I've not had to use them yet, but at least i'll have them if/when the time comes!
contact one of the dealers who post in this forum to contact you when they become available...

We recieved our parts manuals for the CK25/30 a month or so ago. The repair manual was not available at the time.

I'm with you on this Greg. I would like to have a set for the CK30HST. I wouild not want to do any work on the Hydro or Big things on the Engine but it would be a big help for a lot of the things we run into on a regular basis.

Well you guys don't forget that the tractors have good warranties and the dealers need the money! Go to it after the warranty, but I doubt you'll need very much done for a long while. John

I would go to the dealer for big things, probably covered under the warranty, mostly interested to get to know the tractor better, make sure I get all the grease fittings etc during service, and to order parts...working in the woods last week I caught a branch that went up under a back tire and tore out the wires going to the light. Not a big deal but I would like to replace it and get the light working again. Same thing happened with the hood latch, I also need a good rotary cutter before those branches nickel and dime me to the poor house!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

John, I did not mean to suggest that I wanted to do warranty work myself or take on any job that would be done faster and more correctly by my dealer. Nobody is a stronger supporter of their dealer than I am. I am lucky enough to have one that will go more than the extra mile for me. Sometimes, however, it is handy to be able to see how things are put together when you are mounting lights and other small things like that. I don't want to waste their time on a 25 mile trip out to my place just to show me where a fuse is or where to connect a wire. Any warranty work will most certainly be done by my dealer. But more you know about the machine you are running, the less likely you are to damage it. The manuals are a great place to learn.

Yeah, I didn't really think that. I just posted in case some newbies misunderstood.
You're right, it's a good idea to have the information handy. John

I had hoped that more dealers would respond about this. The more we know about our tractors the better off we will be!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
