Does someone have a website for them or a dealer's website I can look at them and price them? I've seen them in a few member's pics, but can't seem to find out more about them.

Thanks,
Fred

Hey that was quick!
I saw some dealers that listed Rhino, but couldn't seem to locate Rhino products once I went to their website, BB. Maybe it was just me and I haven't had my required amount of coffee yet.
Thanks for the links, Dave.

After visiting Rhino's website, I used their dealer locator and called the dealer that was about 40 minutes from here. 5 hours later I had the SE-5 delivered and on the back of my new tractor ready to try out. Nice. I can't believe how much quieter it is compared to the 4' KK I used on the back of my B7500. Very smooth. Turns out the guy I bought it from is one of the brothers that I got my tractor from that went out on his own. He said he had a 7-1/2' backhoe with a 12" bucket for around 4 grand, but it's a 3 point and I'm not sure if my L3130 will accept that kind... yet. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
The BH was delivered the only way he had of loading it... attached to a Scorpion tractor that he said uses Kubota engines. Never heard of them, but it looked like a decent product.
I adjusted the Rhino for a mulch type cut and the end result on 6" high stuff was better than my Bush Hog RFM on my front lawn. Very Nice.
I'm very happy with my first results with it plus it did a nice job on some higher stuff and 1" saplings too, even without angling it to give it more room to throw the stuff out. Of course I had to go pretty slow, but the end result after one pass was sweet.
I plan on getting a couple pins for the wheel adjustment so I don't need to monkey with wrenches to adjust the height. I definitely like the wheel setup and that's a big reason why I checked out the Rhino brand after seeing them in a couple of pics here.

Well, there's my review after a whole 2 hours of hoggin'.

Freds,
Let us know how your cutter does if you get into anything heavier, say 2" stuff. I am looking at the same cutter for my L3010DT and would like to clear out a few places with some stuff a little thicker than 1" but not much thick grass. How does your tractor handle the weight?

Fred, I have the same SE5 cutter and I like it as much as you. The idea of pins to replace the bolts was a brain storm that missed me. As soon as I read your post I smacked my forehead. Luckily I had already put the wrenches away. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now I have a new reason to go to the dealer and browse. Could be bad.

Mike

KK Rotary Cutter isn't competitive in the quality and the price? What do "Koylu" think about this? Ps: Koylu = Farmers in the language I often use in the day.

I didn't feel the weight at all, but then I had the FEL on, too. Normally I had to brush hog in 4WD, but the bigger tractor and loaded tires let me keep it in 2WD ,which was nice for turning. Lifting, lowering, stopping and letting the BH hang didn't budge the tractor at all.
I've got some thicker saplings, but I'm not sure how much I want to test it. Maybe after I lop off the top of a few big rocks and get a few scratches in it I'll push it a little further.

Mike, when I saw the pics of it here I thought it did come with pins for the adjustment. It surprised me when it showed up with bolts and compression nuts. Either way there is never a bad reason to go to the dealer or TSC and "browse". /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't think KK is anywhere close on the quality, Nomad. Not judging from my 4' KK. I payed $720 for the Rhino with no sales tax. That was $80 less than the Bush Hog brand that I thought was comparable. The 5' KK goes for $595 at TSC with sales tax to buy it at a store reasonably close. The KK doesn't have any guards on it, front or back. The Rhino does. I dropped the wrenches on it a few times and didn't scratch the paint plus the finish was nicer, but that is all cosmetic. Also, like I mentioned, it was NOTICEABLY quieter than my 4' KK.

Just my opinions, I don't have a lot of time on it or my new tractor yet, but that will change /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
