Is there a chance that I have the hoses attached to the wrong ports?

Question that should have been asked earlier? Did the bucket dump smoothly under its own power when the lever was moved to dump or did it just kind of flop down and stay there? If just kind of flopped I would check for blockage in lines connected to the cap ends of the cylinders since gravity will make it dump.

Do you see either cylinder try to retract (curl) the bucket? Does it look like either or both hoses on the cylinders stiffen or swell while trying to curl? If both hoses this again points towards a blockage in the cap end hoses.

If all you did was change these hoses then I would go back and remove these hoses one at a time to verify there is nothing plugging them. There have been a few occasions where plastic plug has been missed or left in hose.

The correct fix for this could be obvious. The 2 cylinders may be fighting each other because lines are crossed on 1 of the curl cylinders. But, the pics seem to indicate correct symmetry.

So, looking at the right side of the loader frame, the 'top' line is push (extend) pressure (which is happening). The 'pull' (contract) pressure is too low, or the pull return is blocked. Loosen the hose connectors and check for the presents of pressure in each direction. Watch out for jets of fluid, only need a small turn on the hose nut. Use a rag to receive the oil jet.

Is it possible you got the hoses crossed, as in the hoses that originally went to the back of the cylinders now goes to the front and vic versa? If the loader has regen this could cause the problem.
For the bucket function does the loader valve have a second detent when you push the loader valve to the right?

Another possibility is someone over crimped a hose and it's closed off, had that happen once, didn't cause a problem until I used it for a few minutes then it locked the cylinder in place.

A friend is coming by this afternoon and we're going to take another look at where the hoses are connected.

I think there is a valve on the hyd block, Make sure it is turned all the way up and down ( I ) or sideways ( --- ) can't remember what way to turn. Might of got move part way.

On this part?

No. Follow the in hose to that valve and it well go down under the right floor and hook into a hyd block that I am talking about.

Issue solved!!!!

We swapped the hoses and fired it up. Instantly corrected the issue. Bucket fully functional...dumps all the way, rolls back all the way, boom runs up and down fully. No leaks.

Right side with hoses correctly connected...IMG_4696.jpg

Thanks for everyone's effort to help. Guess I should have focused more on whether or not the hoses were correctly connected.

Thanks,

Bob

I'm still puzzled. Just reversing the curl/dump hoses (the same way on both sides) should have just reversed the way the joystick worked, right?
