Howdy, has any of you pulled the doors off your factory cab in the summer? And if so, how much of a job was it [heavy]? And how rigid was the cab without the doors? I am contemplating getting a new tractor in a few years, and looking at my options.

2 clips, 2 pins per door and not so heavy one person can't handle it. TN75D

Thanks for the reply... I wouldn't mind having the full cab in the winter, but I am an outside type person in the summer. Don't do anything that raises a lot of dust. If I can get a deal on a cab I might go that way instead of a factory soft cab. Thanks again, Jerry.

If you are going to do that, look for a tractor with legitamate filters in the recirculating vents. Running the blower fan in summer for ventilation and sucking dust through the recirc vents into the plenum will plug the evaporator and heater coils in short order. There is no such thing as operating a tractor without dust present. It's more a matter of how much.
