Branson was sold sounds like a good thing to me. Large companies like TYM don't go around buying companies that are not worth buying. No dog in this fight. I drive by the Branson assembly plant everytime I go to the parts house. Sure is a pretty site all those tractors of different sizes lined up.

LOL. You admitted it was hearsay. You said you had a conversation with a guy who owned a dealership. You provided no evidence beyond the claimed conversation. That is the definition of hearsay. //
Well, there's that.....

I work in the aerospace industry - and EVERYTHING is always a just "rumor" until the "Official Press Release" ..... is actually released. //
Some things we call "Computer Industry Secrets." Because when they are losing, competitors always suggest, "Don't buy that competitor's system, or new one will be out next week/month/year."

And customers don't want to buy something that's "obsolete." If you can buy it, it's already obsolete....

Might as well keep this thread alive.

In January I added a Branson 2400 to my corral. While shopping the selected dealer, TYM was also there. A 24ish HP TYM was sitting next to the tractor I later bought. I shopped both. My conclusion is that TYM is leaps and bounds ahead by acquiring Branson.

Was that at Big Reds? I also looked at the TYM's while there.

I was surprised Massey Ferguson is "coming down in quality" to get closer to price.
Same with John Deere and New Holland - - - the stuff they are bringing in from India does NOT impress me at all!!! (& is WAY overpriced)
