Rear mount mower side vs rear discharge?

Which is better? Why? I don't have many trees to mow around, I do mow often. Looking at a tractor with 18 to 20 pto HP.

Can't say that 'either' is 'better'. All depends on what you want to 'leave' behind (or cast to the side). They both mow the grass, but it's a personal thing as to which you might prefer. Gonna have to make a 'decision'. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
