Hey guys,
Stupid question from a new guy...Can anyone tell me if bleeding the power steering is required after replacing a cylider? The guy who sold me the used cylinder said it wasn't necessary but... sterring is extremely difficult. During the replacement process the power sterring resevior went empty so the fluid got foamy. It seems logical that the system would need to be bled but I have not clue how to do this. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

generally all you have to do is keep turning the wheel lock to lock repeatedly, while topping off the resevoir.

having the front up on a jack makes this easier.
