Nice Ranger. I have an '11 800xp and have been very happy with it. I use it on the farm and for hunting. I bought it last March and the only regret is not having one sooner. I like the looks of your cab. It and the doors would sure be nice in the winter months.

These critters all look great and probably work great. I just have a problem spending the $$$$$$ for something I can't drive down the road to town without getting a ticket / having it impounded. I suppose they could be licensed like golf cart vehicles in some states for under 35mph roads, but I wish jeep or suzuki or someone built a really small and durable road-legal vehicle for beating around the farm or woods.

I suppose that depends on where you live. In my area, I drive my Gator to pick up take out, groceries, drop off the mail and even recently, to look at Christmas lights. Knock wood, most police I encounter wave and smile. I do all the good things, wear seatbelt, use lights, and appropriate hand signals. Maybe that helps out. Our downtown area is about five miles from my home down a country road and it was really fun to drive downtown, look at the historical section and Xmas lights and pick up a pizza. Interestingly, I met another Gator and a Razor Polaris on my way back home doing the same thing. More UTV's than cars on the road that evening.

Here in AZ we license them like a motorcycle I guess, you need a horn rear view mirror and I think that is about it we do license and get insurance?? I drive mine to town on State Route 80 and never get a second look from the law. Now the people that want to go 65mph well lets just say that is another story.......

Great looking UTV. The Ranger 800 XP is the best all around machine on the market in my opinion. I too am looking at putting Maxxis Big Horn tires on my '11 Ranger 800 XP/LE when the stock tires are worn out. Wish I had gone with the same cab system you have........... maybe next time. Enjoy your new wheels.

This is my '10 Polaris Ranger HD with RangerWare Cab no doors yet still saving my pennies so I can afford the door system.....ouch!! Mounted the front bumper with the winch put the spare tire holder on and a few other things to help me out when I get stuck. So far have not had to use them but just in case.

Arizona and some other states do allow UTV's on the road. Wish they were road legal in PA.

I love my 2011 800XP, and the EPS is sweet. To me, nothing else in the Utility market of UTVs comes close.

I have added a two inch lift, 26" BajaCross tires, and Diesel wheels. I have had 0 problems in the last year, and wish I had bought one sooner.
