On my machines, those pins tend to get plucked off by the stuff being manipulated, moved, or clamped. I now use Cotter pins rolled around the cylinder pin.

Very dependent on pin size and configuration. When I lost a pin no one (not Kioti, not TSC, not McMaster-Carr, not Amazon, not eBay, etc) had the exact pin size/shape I lost. I finally got a metal detector and spent 3 days combing the acreage where I knew I lost it. Finally found it.
I've done what I can to make sure it won't accidentally come out again.

I am missing something. What is the problem with the replacement pin?
Nothing Doug. Works fine... but I only have that one. If I lost it once, I likely am gonna loose it again. So I am looking for a place to buy some.

What bothers me the most is the manufacturer does even have stock of the pin they supplied! Wut? Yeah... I fear finest Chinesium.

I have looked at Tractor Supply, at McMaster, and other Ag supply houses and have yet to find the pin that was supplied with the grapple. So I thought I would ask..

Thanks for all the input. This old engineer will find a solution he can buy.

The manufacturer probably doesn't stock it because it's easily replaced. It doesn't matter that the retention type be the same. If you're having problems with the brush taking your pins, which is certainly possibly on a grapple, you can replace them with a grade 8 bolt and nylock.

You dont need the exact one, one with removable pins on both ends. The one you replaced it with will work just fine.
