Quite a few of them around here, I see them quite often.

They will come to suet here and a lot of folks just don't like that, because they eat too much. lol I know this old couple that's well into their 80's, and the old woman shoots them with her .410, Her husband gets mad at her because he says .410 shells cost too much!

We have Downey woodpeckers, the smallest woodpecker in North America, and Pileated woodpeckers.

The Downey woodpeckers visit our bird feeders.

Ash trees here are on there way out here as well. I'll try reminder to take a pictuire of them cleaned off of there bark..

I have large dead ash shedding their bark while still standing.

Had to drop so many of them.
The pileated WP love to drill the stumps, helps me out by breaking them down.
