LS XR3037HC
I'll post this here instead of the hydraulics forum because it pertains to my LSXR3037HC.
Anyone know what the flow rate is for the rear remotes? It's probably the same as the R series.
I can't find anything in the owners or service manual other than the relief valve setting pressure.
I already have a 3 pt PHD that I recently rebuilt but I am considering selling it and buying or building a hydraulic front mount to be able to have reverse function.

Here are the specs from the LS site for the 3037
Implement pump gpm: 8.2
Steering pump gpm: 5.5
Total flow gpm: 13.7
Category, 3 pt hitch: CAT 1
Hitch Lift capacity, lb.: 1,808
Lift control type: Position / Draft
Should I be looking at implement or total GPM when trying to figure what I have for flow at the remotes?

I am looking at a sale priced Lowe SK200 that requires 15-30 GPM with choice of auger for $2K. Do I have enough GPM for this unit or should I look at the SK150 which only requires 10-20 GPM?
I have already run 1/2" 3000 PSI lines from the rear remote to the loader that I use for my hyd. thumb. The thumb has restrictors in line to reduce the flow so it doesn't run too fast.

For the guys with hydraulic post hole diggers what are you using.
I could build my own if I knew what Low Speed High Torque hyd. motor to use but haven't found any with a 2" round or hex shaft.
Any help would be appreciated.

The maximum that you will have is 8.2GPM and most 1/2 QDs will flow 12GPM max. So you need to consider these things if you want a hyd driven PHD.;)

That's why I'm asking. So the Lowes SK200 that requires 15-30 GPM would not work and I should look more towards the smaller SK150 at 10-20 GPM.
My other thought was to locate a hydraulic motor I could attach somehow to my existing PHD Comer gearbox input shaft. There are 4 threaded holes on the PTO input shaft side but no idea what they were for. Plus its a 3 to 1 reduction gearbox. Can't get any info from Comer Industries whether a motor could have been added at one time. All the pics of the Worksaver hyd. augers show a different gearbox. Mine is the Worksaver 500 w/ Comer gearbox and no holes on the bottom.

How about some kind of PTO mounted or driven hyd pump? I'm working something like that up in my mind to run a rock picker I'm also brainstorming on....

I understand why you asked. I informed you of your tractors capacities, and these 2 things need to be considered when figuring out what you are going to do. Now you have 2 more pieces of the puzzle.

Good luck ;)

The Danuser EP6 Hydraulic PHD for 6-15 GPM is my pick for your tractor. I'd order it with an offset quick attach mount for visibility, rather than the normal, centered mount that will be in the middle of the hood. No price difference.

Shipping is free to a staffed commercial business or supporting freight terminal within 1,000 miles of Newton, NC. George2615, the closest terminals to you are in East Syracuse.

Feel free to give me a call. I'll even make a package deal for those ordering a Danuser hydraulic auger drive along with a Danuser auger.

Since you were going to spend 2 grand..... see what kind of package deal Ted is willing to conjure up.

Check out the Danuser 8800 3 Point Tractor Hydraulic Auger.

Danuser 8800 Tractor 3 Point Hydraulic Auger

I already have a 3 pt. PTO driven PHD (not hyd.)
Trying to avoid turning sideways and craning my neck to see what's happening back there. Getting older you know and not as enjoyable blowing snow or digging holes in that position.
With other attachments I pull I don't have to stay turned around to watch them, just an occassional check once in a while.
I am also trying to justify spending that much for a front mount hyd. auger. I don't have an immediate use for one but I'm trying to plan what attachments I'll be needing / using after I retire and start doing full time tractor work. I've been doing weekend tractor work for others and no one has asked for holes to be dug. A front mount PHD would take a long time to pay for itself.
