Very nice unit. And your machine will perform so much better with weight on the back. I use a similar idea. I got a drawbar for my quick hitch and ran it threw the handles on suitcase weights. Tied them all together so I can just dump them off in 2 seconds if I want. They have flat bottoms so the will sit where ever I dump them. Tractor is so much better with weight on the back

Enjoy:thumbsup:

IMO, rear weights are a must if you have a FEL. I had the quick hitch on the 7300 with 2 suitcase weights. I added hangers for 2 more weights for use with the 3300. I think the suitcase weights are enough if I have a blade on the 3pt. I might fill a couple of 5 gallon buckets with concrete and use a rod that would fit the lower 2 hangers on the 3pt quick hitch for when I want to use the FEL without the blade. My idea is to put the rod through near the bottom of the bucket and fill with cement to the very top. That way when I use the home made weights, they will hang with the larger end of the bucket to the bottom. Then when I dump them, they will stand in place without tipping over.

I had to look out the window a couple of times to make sure I didn't just dream about buying a new tractor. :D This is my third tractor but my first new one.

Now I just need to find the time to take her out to my property and put some hours on her. The weather is great here so hopefully I'll get out there this week or weekend.

OK, HE is going out this week to do some digging. I was working on all the additions I wanted to make first (tooth bar, weights on 3pt, battery charger quick hook up, etc., etc.). Also, real work seems to be getting in the way.
