Oil regulator/Oil relief valve

Hello,

I have a Shibaura SD1840 (LET802C). The other day while driving, all of a sudden the oil dip stick blew out. Obviously there is a high oil pressure in the engine carter. After searching the Internet I suspect that the oil relief valve could be the problem. However I have no clue where to find this valve. Can anybody tell me where to look ? or does anybody have a suggestion what other problem it could be ?

Oil dipstick blew out? That would more likely be high crankcase pressure than high oil pressure. I think you may be looking in the wrong direction.

Look for a crankcase breather, vent or filter that might be restricted.
