Nobody ever talks about just washing their tractor. Do you?

When Logging, first in the mud and then in droughty dust conditions, the M gets mightily dirty and the cab gets filled with wood chips and sawdust from me climbing in and out. So when there’s a break in the action, too rainy or otherwise, I do vacuum inside the cab and spray down the exterior. The rest of the time when not logging, I don’t bother.

I gave it a wash and wax when it was used in a wedding.

God put the dirt on and God can wash it off when it rains.

Dang, does it work?

This is a long time thing: is it a lawn 'tractor' or is it a real tractor?

If a lawn mower, clean it.

Most bigger tractors could give a ****. But if you re smart you will grease everything. Done,

I mostly want to spray the cab floor and clean the windows by hand. But then I need to hit the pins and I stay away from boots. Why? So I can see new grease. Then I actuate EVERYTHING and short grease it again. If you've never done pins and bushings then grease is really cheap.

If you've never banged apart gouged, scored and ruined pins and bushings for lack of a squirt you have not lived. They don't come part without crazy force. Then they have to be rebuilt.

It's probably not a problem on your lawn mower.

My old man taught me to check all the fluid levels and grease all the fittings every time I use the machine. I hated doing it.

The crop I grow demands numerous corrosive sprays during growing season, an airblast sprayer saturates everything.
If I want my equipment to work properly, it is best to keep them clean and serviced

Washed about every two weeks, waxed at the end of each crop year. Some day I may want to sell a tractor or equipment, appearance matters to a prospective buyer

I'm probably not as dilligent about greasing as I should be, but I try to do it either before or after extended loader use.

Mine gets a bath a time or two a year. When I do my oil and filter changes, I wash it and grease it.

Wash, vs spray off? I spray mine off every few months, but "wash" no.
I do the same. Hit it with a garden hose when it’s really dirty. Otherwise just use a leaf blower to blow off the dust and chaff.
