Hello folks. I have a 2006 TC40 that is having a clutch problem. The clutch doesn't disengage. Anyone have an idea on how I might fix this without splitting the tractor in half and replacing the clutch? Thanks for any advice you might have.

Do you store the tractor outside. If so moisture may have caused the clutch to stick to the flywheel. If it's stuck you could try to get up to road speed and while holding the clutch down slam on the brakes. You could also chain the tractor to a tree and bounce it a couple times while holding the clutch. Tractors like to be stored in your barn.

Thanks for the advice. This machine is kept outside. I'd certainly keep it inside of I could but have no place for that. I've already tried both of those remedies and neither have worked. I guess a clutch job is in my future.
